Description
Today, Parco Natura Viva is a modern Zoological Park, an important protection centre for threatened species, which has been able to
evolve over time to take an active role in the conservation of biodiversity. The Park was born from the brilliant idea
of the architect Alberto Avesani, the founder, who transformed part of his agricultural company, existing since 1933, in the 60s,
in a wildlife area, collecting local fauna to breed and possibly show them to the public. Designed since 1965,
a first sector of about 10 hectares, the current Faunistic trail, was inaugurated on 21 June 1969. In 2019, the Parco Natura Viva
celebrated its first 50 years with its visitors.
